Stone Consulting Ltd : Principal (UK)
Set up to allow me to serve multiple clients simultaneously, and power their innovation agendas by leading sustainability and design led programs with a focus on new to world materials, sustainability strategies for high growth and ensuring innovations for long term success.
Plastic Bank: Chief Marketing Officer (CAN)
3 month ‘set up’ assignment to deliver a marketing plan and structure for a sustainability startup, enabling them to grow at a rapid pace and keep up with their clients marketing demands.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
Full marketing plan for 2020 + recruitment strategy for full Marketing mix.

PA Consulting: Chief Design Officer (UK)
As CDO of a large ‘Management Consultancy’ my role is to redefine ‘design’. Re-staging it from being a great capability within an organisation, to being a powerful strategic tool we use to help our clients grow meaningful business’s based on consumer insights and delighters.

As the Global Head of Design and with a seat on the Nutrition Leadership Team, I have overall responsibility for all creative strategy and output in 3D Structural Design, Technical Design, Branded Package Design, BTL, In-Store Activation and Digital Innovation for the full global Nutrition & Digestive Health portfolios.
My role in GSK has been to define a new type of corporate design engine, with a unique balance of in-house creative group leaders, in-house staff designers and select agency partnerships. The design team is proven to increase the quality of design at SKU, Brand and Category level, drive top line sales, grow innovation sales and increase speed to market while reducing the overall cost of the design function by 40% based on comparative functions.

NewEdge: Head of Design & Partner (London UK)
In January of 2008 I brought Stone | Product Design together with NewEdge and joined as company Partner and Head of Design, enabling me to add much more breadth to the scope of work I could undertake for my clients. As well as taking overall responsibility for the creative output from the NewEdge offer, I have also developed along side the other company seniors a set of proprietary innovation tools, enabling us to deliver game changing results in both strategy and design for our clients.

Stone | Product Design (Manchester UK)
In June of ‘06 I founded Stone | Product Design. An agency specialising in product, packaging and branding design, specifically for the FMCG market.
Procter & Gamble / AME Design (Brussels Belgium)
I joined AME in late 2001 to work on their CPG design programs. From mid 2002 until 2006, I contracted full time to P&G working as a lead creative and design manager. Our in house design team were targeted in defining packaging innovation, providing an end to end support from initial ideation sessions, through each creative touch point all the way through to manufacture. In my time at P&G I worked to create products and packaging solutions for all the global brand units throughout the company, and in every geography bringing a raft of products through to market.
